PURE NATURAL™ – ORGANIC VIETNAM PEPPER FACTS
PURE NATURAL™ Organic Vietnam Pepper is grown naturally following the essential principles of organic agriculture in soil building and conservation, pest management, and heritage-species preservation. The plants are propagated by cuttings about 40 to 50 cm long, tied up to neighboring trees or climbing poles at distances of about one meter apart Competing plants are cleared away, leaving only sufficient trees to provide shade and permit free ventilation. The roots are covered in leaf mulch and manure, and the shoots are trimmed twice a year. On dry soils the young plants require watering every other day during the dry season for the first three years.
Famed for its strong yet delicate aroma, PURE NATURAL™ Organic Vietnam Pepper can range from intensely spicy to mildly sweet. Its unique flavor is thanks to a combination of factors found only in Southern Vietnam; a combination of rich soil, the climate in this area which is between the mountains and the sea, as well as the experience of several generations of pepper farmers. Products that have special or specific qualities that come from the region they are produced are given GI certification.
